Suiheisha History Museum

In 2012, the monument was erected by a local group to support the project in commemoration of the 90th anniversary of the Zenkoku Suiheisha and the 100th anniversary of the Yamato Doshi Kai.
The unveiling ceremony was held on 1 August.
The inscriptions on the monument reflect the wishes that discrimination should not be allowed, that each one of us should firmly lead human lives, joining hands with peers, and that all kinds of discrimination be eliminated someday.
The call for proposals of the name of the monument received a number of responses, for which we would like to express sincere appreciation.
The adopted name was announced at the Festival of Appreciation at Kashihara Kitaho, the Homeland of Human Rights (Cherry Blossom Festival) on 6 April 2013.
