One of the founders of the Zenkoku Suiheisha. Born in Oshima, Gojo Town, Uchi County (current Gojo City), Nara Prefecture. He read aloud the resolution at the Founding Congress of the Zenkoku Suiheisha. He moved around the country as an executive member of the associationfs headquarters and played a significant role in the creation of local Suiheisha organizations. He was also elected to an official of the Japan Farmersf Union Nara Prefectural Association and, when he was assaulted by a thug of a rightist organization Hakuryu Kai with a Japanese sword in 1927, he had guided a tenancy dispute. Having actively pursued international solidarity, he was also involved in movements by Korean residents in Japan and the Hyeongpyengsa movement (an autonomous anti-discrimination movement in the Korean peninsula). The Nara Prefectural Suiheisha was created on 10 May 1922, with 26 local branches from among 68 Buraku districts in the prefecture. The Nara Prefectural Suiheisha developed with support from a lot of people through organizing congresses and struggles of denunciation of acts of discrimination.
Although the Zenkoku Suiheisha was created by Buraku people themselves, its movement was supported by people outside Buraku districts in different fields, including religious, journalism, legal and political sectors. A diversity of supporters enabled the Zenkoku Suiheisha to be involved in a wide range of activities.
